Sea-Dew-Utopia II (2017)

Using recycled material, I created assemblages of mutated corals and sea creatures. The work references Corabela (1985), a play by Singaporean theatre group, Third Stage. Fictitious sea creatures appear in the play, which parodies the Singaporean government’s controversial policy in the 1980s of encouraging graduate women to have children.
